Access is a new charity established by Jenny Halpern, which offers work experience to students who wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity to gain experience in the industry of their choosing. We filmed six interviews with students and their employers to explain the benefits of work experience in a number of very different industries, from filmmakers to shoe designers to children’s charities.
I was invited to Number 11 Downing Street to celebrate the charity’s first year. I found out afterwards that whilst watching the speeches I was standing right next to Michael Gove and I didn't even notice. Sad to have missed an opportunity to punch that evil bastard in the face.
