I directed a couple of little trailers for the NSPCC to promote David Tait and Mat Bennett's fundraising adventures in the coming months. The brief was to inject a little comedy into their fundraising activities and to make them look EPIC.
Not many people have gone as far as David Tait to help us keep children safe – he’s already raised over £1 million for the NSPCC. After being sexually abused as a child, he’s determined to make sure the charity protects as many children as possible. David's latest challenge is to climb Mount Everest for the sixth time.
Mathew Bennett and Team Essence are pushing themselves to the limit and taking on an expedition that’s never been attempted before. They’re taking on 1,400 miles of the Gobi Desert in Mongolia – trekking from the western edge to its far eastern corner using only human power.
Good luck guys!

VESPERS is the story of what happens when Eve, (Fiona O'Shaughnessy, UTOPIA) who is terminally ill, returns to her once idyllic seaside family home to face her estranged sister Frankie (Keeley Forsyth, HAPPY VALLEY) and her son Aiden (Tom Powell). With a fading future and a painful past, two sisters struggle to embrace the present. I produced the film for Artur Zaremba, a BAFTA winning director for whom this was a real passion project. It was an intense shoot, not least because there was absolutely no reception or wifi in the remote Welsh location(!!) but with the help of brilliant DoP Steven Ferguson, it looks like they're shot some really beautiful stuff. Can't wait to see a first cut! |
