Ruth has directed documentaries, promos and explainer videos for the NSPCC, Tastemade, Scottish Labour, Dance Umbrella, Build Africa, The Green Party, Durex, The Guardian, Schroders, Time to Change, Mencap, Childline and The Scout Association, amongst others. She's currently working on a series of 22 films for The Science Museum, many of which she is self-shooting on the Arri Amira, and has just finished directing two anti-smoking structured documentary films for AXA.
In 2013, Ruth established Dauntless Pictures with Joanna Thapa and together they are cultivating a slate of TV shows, features, documentaries and shorts. Their documentary for the Guardian, 'From The Bronx To Yale: The Power of High School Speech', was awarded a Staff Pick on Vimeo and premiered at Sheffield DocFest in 2016 and they are currently in post on the feature length version, which Ruth self-shot in New York and Florida last summer.
