I directed this short documentary about the misconceptions around social work for Nowadays. It was a challenge to tell 4 stories in such a short film and we had to compromise on story a little as a result, but for me it was certainly an interesting window into a misunderstood profession.

I directed the interviews with Shafaq and Nick in this documentary about the very real need for more Parkinson's nurses in the UK. With over a third of the sector due to retire in the next five years, even more people with Parkinson's are potentially facing a future without specialist help. I found meeting Shafaq genuinely inspiring. As a dentist with two young children who was diagnosed at 40, she had a very difficult time coming to terms with her new life, but she faced it with fearless dignity and has found new direction as a teacher and campaigner. Hats off to Artur Zaremba and Siena Bevan for this moving edit.
Had a great time directing and editing this promo for Pinnacle, a new app to optimise mental health and performance. The brilliant Cliff Evans managed to shoot all 18 scenes (including 3 unit moves and child actors) in a single 10 hour day, and we had the client on hand, doubling as wardrobe. Huge thanks to an amazing (if tiny) team.
